I am new to website design but have loved working on it so far. I first learned how to use Squarespace website builder for one of my Innovation and Design courses last fall at BSU. For this course, we were asked to create our own business from start to finish, and at the end of the class, we made our own company website after this project I was hooked on making any websites I could. I then asked family and friends with their businesses if they needed an updated site. For this example, I reworked Sound Investment Services LLC’s financial advising services website. They hadn’t updated the look of their company in over a decade so it was time for a fresh website. I stuck with a similar color pallet and added imagery that captures the essence of the Puget Sound area while still showing their viewers what their company services entail. These projects were a great start to my work with web design and company branding.
